Pine Studio, the publisher and developer, has announced that Escape Simulator, its most recent project, will now be released in October. The game, which has a cutesy visual style, puts your puzzle-solving skills to the test by trapping you in 15 escape rooms and daring you to escape.

You may break ancient Egypt’s locks, hack into the electronics of a space shuttle, or decipher odd documents discovered within a beautiful Victorian library on your own or in online co-op with two other players.

At debut, Escape Simulator will feature a level editor that will allow you to create your own levels as well as sample the work of others.

You’ll be able to personalize your avatar and dress them up in themed clothes that are “tailor-made for each puzzle setting,” as well as toss vases at your colleagues, which will surely inspire them to think harder and not search for things to throw back at you, as science has shown.
