13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim is a game that has players take on the role of one of 13 sentinel robots protecting Earth from alien invaders. The game releases April 12, 2018 for $19.99 and will be available digitally through Nintendo eShop.

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim, the newest project from Vanillaware and Atlus West, the company behind Odin Sphere and Dragon’s Crown, will be released for the Nintendo Switch on April 12, 2021.
This game, which was previously published on the PlayStation 4, is separated between side-scrolling adventure elements and real-time strategic combat. Players will be transported to 1980s Japan, where they will fight gigantic kaiju and mechas.
There are thirteen distinct characters to play, all of them interact with one another to form a greater story. The idea for a multi-protagonist plot was inspired by the long-running Japanese television serial Chgakusei Nikki, which was based on a Feel Comics’ comic from the Feel Young magazine.
